Dan, who was brother-in-law of the Bath great, Tony Swift, had one season at Bath before moving to Bristol. Formerly a Clifton RFC player, he finished his rugby with Esher.
Lucky to be coached by the likes of Jack Rowell and Brian Ashton, and play with some illustrious players who went on to coach at the highest level, he now writes extensively about rugby coaching.
