Career details:

An up and coming second row Nick Rouse first appeared at Bath Rugby as a member of the National Cup winning Under-19s team that beat Bristol Shoguns U19s at Northampton’s Franklin’s Gardens ground. Having played for Bath United, on the odd occasion, in the 2001/2002 season scoring a try in a 17pts-26pts defeat to Worcester (when fixtures permitted), Nick forced his way into the 1stXV squad for the pre-season matches at Bridgend and Cardiff in August 2002. The England Students international consequently made his first team debut as a half-time replacement for new captain Danny Grewcock and didn’t look out of place alongside Jonathan Pendlebury at lock. With the plethora of top quality international locks at the club Nick was forced to look elsewhere for 1st XV rugby and, after a brief spell at Caerphilly on loan (where he played in the 2003 Parker Pen Shield Final at the Madejski Stadium), he signed for National League side Manchester.

Transferred To: Manchester
