Career details:

Ollie made his 1st XV appearance in a friendly match at the beginning of season 1999/2000. Ollie played in the 24pts-3pts win at Keynsham, partnering Martin Haag in the second row and was also a starter in the 18pts-17pts win against Glasgow at the Rec. in January 2000, being replaced by Haag. He started the 2000/2001 season by claiming a starting spot in the friendly games against Llanelli (where he was one of only four players to play a full eighty minutes) and the Edinburgh Reivers. Ollie was a competent line out technician who claimed a regular berth in the United side, playing in five out of the seven matches played in 2000/2001, including the Phil de Glanville and Adedayo Adebayo Testimonial match against Bristol. He had the pleasure of notching a try in the United side’s 10pts-7pts win over Wasps at the beginning of season 1999/2000 in one of his first matches for the club. Signed initially from the Bath Rugby Academy Ollie also enjoyed a loan spell with Penzance & Newlyn Pirates where he once again teamed up with the evergreen Haag.
