Kevin made an immediate impact scoring a try with his first touch when coming on as a replacement for Rob Chrystie in the 14-20 defeat to Sale in February 2002. He subsequently made his full debut the following week, starting in the number nine shirt in the home match against the Leicester Tigers. Kevin began his rugby career at the University of California and has been capped 30 times by the USA, scoring 107 points, including seven tries. He made eight appearances for Bath in 2001/2002, starting five times and appearing as a replacement on three other occasions. Kevin had the honour of being top point’s scorer for the USA in the 1999 Rugby World Cup Finals, totalling 29 points in matches against Ireland, USA and eventual Champions Australia. His final appearance for Bath Rugby was as a replacement for Gareth Cooper in an end of season home loss to Wasps in 2002, before he returned to America to seek a club for the 2002/2003 season, playing in the 2003 Rugby World Cup Qualifiers while he did so.
