Iestyn Lewis, a tough tackling centre, had two spells with Bath Rugby, with the majority of his 42 appearances coming in the amateur era. Lewis signed for Bath from Bath University and made his debut for the club in a 30pts-7pts away win at Clifton on the 26th September 1990, when Bath played the Bristol-based club on a regular basis. Prior to the professional age, he appeared 41 times for Bath and crossed for 14 tries, while the professional era brought only one further outing. That was in 1999/2000 when Iestyn was started the pre-season friendly match at Keynsham alongside Tokunbo Adebayo in a very young Bath side. The former Wales Students and Monmouthshire representative had spells with Bristol side later in his career.
