Career details:

Played for Bath College against Bath in November 1895. The next season, TB, a powerful forward, joined the Bath Club but for some reason moved to the  Bristol club the following season(1897-98). He re-joined Bath for the  1898 – 99 season. He was selected for Somerset County in 1900. He captained the Club from 1903 to 1906.

He served on the Management Committee from 1903 to 1912 and on the County Committee from 1906 to 1913. He rejoined the Management Committee in 1922 and took an active part in Club affairs for many years.

A City Councillor for over 20 years and a keen Territorial from 1905 onwards, becoming Second-in-Command, 4th Somersets during the First World War

With his brother he supported the Club as a solicitor practising in Bath.
